New China Visa Application Form

New China Visa Application Form Adopted 

As instructed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in South Africa started using a new Visa Application Form.  The old version will no longer be accepted at the Consulate.

Effective immediately the China Embassy also now requires 3 months bank statements for first time travellers to China. For travellers that have been to China before, no bank statements are needed, permitted that the visa is in their current passport. If not the 3 months bank statements will be needed again.
