(L,D) Day 2: ThimphuTour Thimphu, including a visit to the beautiful mediaeval fortress/monastery of Trashi Chhoe Dzong and the Institute for Zorig Chusum (Painting School). (B,L,D) Day 3: Thimphu to PunakhaDrive to Punakha via Dochu La. If the skies are clear you will be able to view the ranged Himalayan peaks in the distance, one of which is Bhutan’s largest peak. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong and the Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten. (B,L,D) Day 4: Punakha - Wangdue PhodrangVisit Wangdue Phodrang and stroll around the old town and market before viewing the local dzong and Bhutan’s oldest village. (B,L,D) Day 5: Punakha to ParoDrive to Paro. Visit Ta Dzong and walk down a hillside trail to Rinpung Dzong, home of the Paro Festival. (B,L,D) Day 6: ParoVisit the Taktshang Monestary, known as the ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang en route to Paro this afternoon.
