Afternoon tour of the city including a visit to the Patouxay Victory Monument. Day 2: Vientiane to Khong Island Fly to Pakse. Upon arrival transfer to the pier and board your cruise to Champasak. Continue by road to the Khmer ruins of Wat Phou. Enjoy an elephant ride to Phou Asa Hill before continuing to Khong Island. (B,L) Day 3: Khong Island to Pakse Travel by boat through the Si Phane Done area, walk through villages and countryside to the Liphi Waterfall before continuing on to Pakse. (B,L) Day 4: Pakse to Luang Prabang Fly to Luang Prabang via Vientiane. Visit the old city of Luang Prabang and climb up Phousi Hill for a great view over the city. (B) Day 5: Luang Prabang Head to the morning market and partake in the Dawn Alms ritual with the local monks. Visit the Royal Palace Museum and take a boat trip to the Pak Ou Caves.
