DAY 1: SHANGHAI TO TUNXI This afternoon you will be picked up from your Shanghai hotel and transferred to Shanghai railway station to board your overnight train to Tunxi. DAY 2: TUNXI TO MT. HUANG Upon arrival at Tunxi this morning you will take a cable car to the summit of Mt. Huang. Enjoy the spectacular views of the oddly shaped peaks, rock formations, thousand-year-old pine trees and mysteriously ever-changing mist, all of which have inspired local artists for centuries. (B,L) DAY 3: MT. HUANG TO TUNXI Take the cable car down to the base of the mountain and explore the ancient town of Tunxi, where you will stay overnight. (B,L) DAY 4: TUNXI TO SHANGHAI Spend the day visiting local villages and experience the local lifestyle. Much of the housing in this area dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Later transfer to Tunxi railway station and board your overnight train back to Shanghai. (B,L) DAY 5: SHANGHAI Arrive at Shanghai railway station this morning where your arrangements end.
