TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE MANDALAY

Make your own way to your Mandalay hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

DAY 2: MANDALAY

This morning you will travel to Amarapura where you will walk along the longest teak bridge in the world, U Bein Bridge. Afterwards visit Mahaghandayon Monastery, which is home to thousands of young monks. Later, visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, where you will see the world’s largest book, followed by a drive in an open top vehicle to the top of Mandalay Hill for panoramic views as the sun sets. (B,L)

DAY 3: MANDALAY – MINGUN

Early this morning take a boat ride to the small town of Mingun where you will see the Mantara Pagoda and the world’s largest bell. Travel to Ava and take a horse-drawn carriage to visit Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace. Later, explore Sagaing Hill to view the white pagodas and monasteries before returning to Mandalay. (B,L)
